The city of Istanbul has been tourist destination since the Byzantium and Greeks 700 B.C. the city of Istanbul called Constantinople before Turks the king of Byzantium emperor Constantine gave his name to the ancient city. And Muslim’s conquered the city in 1453 the greatest Ottoman Empire emperor Fatih Sultan Mehmet. Ottoman Empire ruled Istanbul for four and half centuries and in 1923 it became a first formal Turkish state. For generation’s western travelers and artists in 19th and 20th century, Istanbul was seen as the heart of the world. Many artists influenced from Istanbul because of its romantic view. Author explains how old and big houses are valuable in Istanbul these houses are called “Yali” and they are highly expensive. Many tourists’ visits these houses and take pictures of them. And the growth of the economy is based on the investments from the big corporations around the world. Many investors buy property and open huge factories in Istanbul.
