The city of Istanbul has been tourist destination since the Byzantium and Greeks 700 B.C. the city of Istanbul called Constantinople before Turks the king of Byzantium emperor Constantine gave his name to the ancient city. Ottoman Empire ruled Istanbul for four and half centuries and in 1923 it became a first formal Turkish state. For generation’s western travelers and artists in 19th and 20th century, Istanbul was seen as the heart of the world. Many artists influenced from Istanbul because of its romantic view.
